October update
Well, if you haven't been living on the moon over the last couple of months....you will know that this summer hasn't really had much of a look in!! Although it did surprise us last week with a very late entry. So the heating has been going on and off and now on again.
It has been a really busy year and we have had so many lovely families staying with us. Some regular visitors and some first time vistitors. I have just finished updating the visitors book, which is a lovely way of remembering all of our guests.
Whilst Lily was at home over the holidays, she took to cooking some lovely cakes for the cottage guests and they seem to have been very well received. I am now trying to keep up to her standards and carry on this wee welcome treat!
On the wind turbine front.....John has been heard muttering to himself at the lack of wind over the summer months. However the last couple of weeks have been really windy, so at the moment, he leaves for work most mornings with a spring in his step and a smile on his face as his turbine whizzes around!
